Network issues in parts of Micusto Cloud

Update

Network connection has stabilized to those of our public IPs that were affected by this incident yesterday.

Our internet connection providers Network & Operations teams found that timeouts might have been caused by routing issues with a transit provider which is out of our control. All our own infrastructure including servers did not have any issues and were up all the time through the incident.

Domains using Cloudflare did not have timeouts to the same extent as domains, which use our public IPs directly since Cloudflare uses other routes.

Moving forward we have established monitoring of our public IPs with traceroutes from different locations so we might be able to identify the transit provider that potentially can cause network issues.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this incident.

Update

We continue to monitor the situation closely. Our tech team has adjusted some configurations. We believe it might be a general network issue between Internet Service Providers in our cloud regions in Denmark and Germany.

Investigating

Currently we see network issues from several providers. We're working on a solution.
